Summer 2010: Dismas House proudly welcomes our newest student resident, Kyle McCollom. Read more about Kyle and what he has already brought to the Dismas Community by clicking below. Kyle McCollom, a rising senior at Vanderbilt University, moved into Dismas House at the start of June, 2010. A longstanding volunteer at Dismas House, Kyle is a formative member of Grassroots, a student service organization dedicated to serving the poor, homeless and hungry in Nashville. Since his sophomore year at Vanderbilt, Kyle has demonstrated a commitment to supporting the Dismas mission through regular volunteering at dinner and special events, organizing fundraisers, and helping to introduce hundreds of Vanderbilt students to Dismas House and its cause. A budding social entrepreneur, Kyle is dedicating his time and energy to creating a unique solution to poverty through the development of t-shirt printing enterprise, Triple Thread Apparel.
